Update

So..I am been a little lazy on this, so now I am trying to figure out where I have left off at. I had my last day of work last thursday and it was a bittersweet day. We went out to Chilis that night and said "goodbye". I tried to keep the tears in but of course I am the emotional type, so I start crying a little. I'll post some pics up in a little bit. Me with my flowers they got me.

The final moving day is approaching quite fast. The movers are coming this thursday and then the cleaning lady will be here on friday. For the weekend, we will be staying in bility till that wednesday and then we are off on a long drive to New Mexico. I am so excited, but I am nervous in a way. I am looking forward to the drive, but since kenny and I are both driving separate cars, it's going to be a little boring. I'll try to find ways to entertain by listening to the radio and of course Cora will be switching cars throughout the trip. I hope she will be fine with the long drive out there.

Final plans on Moving!

Ok, so this will be the last blog for the day. I just had so much going on in one time where I wanted to keep things separate. So, now that the family is gone we are getting down to business with our moving.
My last day of work is next thursday, which is kinda sad but I am trying to be strong and get through it as dry as I can. It has been a wonderful 2 years of working there and I am truly going to miss everyone there. Its been great working with everyone and my bosses are the best ever. They are apart of my family.
The movers are coming on March 26th, and they will be packing up everything for us, so we just have to be here to watch. Then on March 27th, the cleaning lady is going to be here in the morning and it'll take her about 4-5 hours to clean the whole house. I am going to carpet clean the place, since I am in love with carpet cleaning. Then that day/ weekend Kenny is going to be working on the back and front lawns and then we will be making sure that we cut the grass, clean garbage cans, clean up the back yard and make it look good.
Cora will be hanging out at one of our neighbors backyard for the time being. We will be staying in bility that weekend until we leave on April 1st.
For the most part, we are ready to leave. All we have to worry about is packing up things that we will need for the week and the travel to New Mexico, making sure the front and back yard is in good shape.

Once that is all done, then we will meet back on base on Monday the 30th for the final inspection and after that is finished we will be done and just be waiting for us to travel.

This whole thing seems like everything is moving so fast. We are ready for a new adventure and living in a new area, so it's very exciting.
I called over to Housing in New Mexico and we are 17 on the list, so if we get there over the weekend then we will be staying in lodging for the weekend and hopefully that monday we will have a place and will get settled in. We will be leaving before our things, so we are hoping that it will not take 2 weeks before we get our furniture.
I will keep you posted on our travels to New Mexico when we do leave.

So, on February 29th was a bittersweet day. We had Katlin's going away Brunch, it was also mine too but mainly for Katlin. She moved to Alabama with her hubby and son to start a life there. It's going to be lonely without her at work, but in the end I'll be leaving also, so it's not too bad.We we a great time hanging out that day and it was great to just relax and talk with most of the coworkers. It was a really cold day!

Todd and Neri's Visit!

So, A lot has been going on here. First, Kenny's Brother Todd and His wife Neri came to visit us last week. We had such a blast. We went to Panama City and road around on Mopeds, it was cold but the sun was out so that helped with the coldness. We went around Destin and the area that we live at. We also saw Watchmen, I have to say that we should have not even gone to that movie. Especially on the first night. Not the type of movie that I thought it was going to be and it was also almost 3 hours long.

Todd and I at Red Lobster on what to be their last day but ended up missing their plane, so they stayed a couple more days!Neri and Todd at Red Lobster! It was such a beautiful day out and the wind wasn't too cold.

We went to the beach and it was a little chilly outside. We decided to bury Neri, so we dug her a huge hole and then we piled sand on top of her. It was fun and then in the end we needed to take pictures, so we sat on her and smiled away. it was a great time. The boys played Beach Volleyball that day too. It was a beautiful day!










Then after we were done at the beach, we went to Hooters! We took a picture of the boys with a Hooter girl. They had the biggest smile on their faces!
