July the month of Happiness!

35 weeks and 3 days!!

Yay, the time is soon to arrive. Rozlyn's room is all done, just have to set up her swing. I am now ready to have her, well not right now but when the time is right she's welcome to arrive. As some of you may know that Rozlyn's room is not the average baby room, since Kenny will be deploying mid September we decided to wait on the crib and settle for the pack n play since I'll be up in Oregon for the time he's gone. I am really excited to start using the room and for her to arrive.

Cora has been so good with the adjusting of the room. She loves to walk in and snoop around and look into the pack n play. I know she knows that she's going to have a little sister, since I've been telling her for many many months. I am excited for them to bond and for her to be her protector. It'll be great going up to Oregon, that way she wont feel lonely since her daddy is going to be gone and she'll have Lucy and my parents to play with, so she'll love it.

I am all done with school till August 18th. It feels great to be done with my 4 week classes and then have a break. Yes, I am still going to continue college when she arrives, I know I can do it if I am that determine which I am. I can not wait till graduation time but I know that's around one of those corners, just haven't found which one yet.

Finals are right around the corner:)

27 Weeks Pregnant!!
Woohoo!!! Time has gone by so fast. Next week is finals week, and then I'll be done with school for a couple weeks and start back up June 7th for 2 4 week classes. :) Yes, I am determined!

Rozlyn Kathleen is kicking and moving like crazy and I love every minute of it. Buying baby stuff is fun, but I am not trying to buy a whole lot all at once. We decided to wait on getting the crib since Kenny will be deployed 8 weeks after she's born and I'll be up in Oregon for the whole time he's gone. Pack n Play is going to be her bed for a while.

My sister has been in 36+ hrs of pre labor, today is her due date and we are all just waiting for Julie Rose to enter this amazing world. I am so excited to have a niece, can not wait till she arrives, today could be the day:):) Life is great!!

finally back to blogging!!

So, It's been a while since I last blogged.
We had a great time over the holidays! We went to visit Kenny's family in Vegas and had a wonderful time with them. It was really nice meeting his uncles and aunts. It seemed as though the time went by so fast but it was also great to come back home before Christmas and spend it here.
Christmas was great. It was low key but we enjoyed it.
For new years we hung out with some friends and play games. Another relaxing time with people.

School has started back up for me and so far it's been going great. I enjoy my classes so far even though it's only the 2nd week of classes. It's nice being back on campus and attending classes instead of taking all online courses.

My sister is having a girl. Julie Rose in May! I am so excited to finally have a niece. It's nice buying boy clothes but I am going to enjoy buying girl clothes.
Other than that we are just having a great beginning of the new year and making the best out of living in this town.

October Blues!!

Well it is official!

I am an auntie again. My sister inlaw just gave birth to Marcus Matthew Martin October 26, 2009. He weighed 6pds 9ounces, 19 1/2 inches. He was an early baby, his original date was November 10th. I guess he wanted to be born before Halloween so he can dress up.:)
Todd was able to meet his boy on web cam. I am sure you all know that he is deployed and he wont be back till June.
Things are going great with us. We are enjoying the cool weather and I am hoping for some snow but I doubt that. We got our pumpkins and will be carving them on Friday. I love Halloween because I love candy.
There may be a change in plans for Kenny's deployment, he may have to leave in March instead of May but we are not for sure yet. He would only be gone for 4 months, so it's not too bad as to other people's deployment.

I would like to say that whenever someone has a baby in my family or a close friend I always get the comments back saying (when are you and kenny going to have a kid? your getting old better before your eggs die, and some other comments along that line). I would like to address the issue of that.
Fact: Kenny and I have been married for over 3 years, we have an amazing married life, we have an amazing dog Cora which I call my daughter, and we are enjoying our life being married and being us 2, well 3 counting Cora.
Many of you who know me, knows how much I would love to start a family. Timing is the key for us. Kenny will be deployed next year and I have no idea when, if he deploys in May then he would be gone for the birth of our kid if I were to get pregnant before the end of the year. I would love for my husband to be there on that special day. Also, my eggs aren't dying anytime soon. I technically have 11 more years till I am 35, so there for I am not old. Also, I know people who are older than me that are not even married or have kids.
What I am trying to say or maybe just venting a little bit is that I do not appreciate the comments, cause maybe I am or have been trying for some time and just seeing them makes me sad or maybe I am just not ready yet and waiting for my special moment when everyone I know are done with having babies.
I love my life and I LOVE being an aunt and sharing those precious moments with my nephew and my friends kids. Life is too short to be worrying about when to start a family, I live my life to the fullest and I know that god has a plan for me and Kenny.
I love you all but I appreciate if you kept the baby comments to yourself.
Thanks!!
